Christmas Again

It is my 57th year after my birth on December 24, 1961. I was born around 3:00 p.m. on that day and Mom said she remembers it well because I am the first born girl. Mom told my Dad to go and tell everybody about her new baby girl.

My birthday was filled with many sweet moments. Breakfast from my husband, love and hugs from my sons. A Happy Birthday from my daughter from afar as she was in New Jersey with her in-laws. Cecilia was the highlight of that video call with her sweet smile that lights up a room. I also received a preview gift of our next vacation to the British Isles, the land of my ancestors.

I got a video from my sister Christy and her kids, singing Happy Birthday to me. I showed it to a few people because I loved it so much. Then off to Christmas Mass followed by Wigilia celebration at Art's Mom place.  We had pierogi and seafood among other things. All was delicious.

I am always thinking how I can be a better person. I don't pretend that I can make myself better, but know that I must give all that I am to God, Our Father. I will do all within my own will to choose God as I move forward. I will stay within the teachings of the Catholic Church for I am absolutely sure that it is here I will find the truth. 2019 here we come!
